Random spirals on my fingertips,

are they me?

Genetic coils in my nuclei,

are they me?

Funny hair swirls on my head,

are they me?

A pair of viridescent eyes?

Or perhaps,

A pair of nigrescent hands?

Or perchance,

A pair of albescent feet?

Or maybe,

A pair of rubescent earrings?

Or possibly,

A pair of violescent pants?

Or conceivably,

A pair of cerulescent balls?

Or contingently,

A pair of lutescent gloves?

Ah iridescence,

Oh, opalescence,

And pearlescence…
